After spending some time pondering how to start creative making in my project, I have decided that I would like to focus on photography. I feel that this is a far more convenient method of documenting my adventures, and I find it far more enjoyable. I feel that it also most accurately represents my decisions in real life, as I find it far more natural to take photographs rather than creating art or film.
I feel that I will be able to explore a range of different genres and concepts through photography, through post-production, as well as creative decisions such as lighting, perspective, angles, and camera settings.
I will most likely take most of these photographs on my phone, as this is more convenient. It also reflects how most of my generation create art for themselves, by documenting their surroundings on their phones.
I would like to take photographs of various different situations and settings, then group these based on common features. I would also like to explore different genres and styles of post-production through various settings and styles of photography. Much of this project will be focused on portraiture, as I am most interested by the people I share my adventures with, although the setting is also significant of course.
